Why Velours Oil?
Most beard oils are too heavy once the beard starts growing seriously. They weigh down the hairs, leave a sticky film, and eventually clog pores. After four hours, the beard shines too much or looks dirty. Many guys give up daily maintenance because it doesn't hold up: itching returns, skin feels tight, hairs go in all directions, and the scent is too strong.
We wanted to do things differently. Not just another oil that promises the moon and ends up in a drawer.
This is how HUILE VELOURS was born – DAMERET's first dry oil designed for medium to long beards (1.5 cm and up). Six light vegetable oils (macadamia, apricot, sesame, jojoba, castor) and vitamin E. That's it. 100% natural origin formula, silicone-free, alcohol-free, paraben-free. Fast absorption, dry-touch finish, soothed skin. One simple step is enough: three to five drops in the palm, warm it up, apply to a dry beard.

Most beard oils use heavy bases (mineral oil, very oily oils) or add silicones to give a "smooth" effect that ends up sticky. Huile Velours is a fluid dry oil composed of 6 light vegetable oils (macadamia, apricot, sesame, jojoba, castor) and vitamin E. It penetrates in a few seconds, nourishes the hair, soothes the skin under the beard — and finishes with a satiny velvet effect, not a greasy shine.
From 1.5 cm up to long / full beards. If your beard is shorter (3 days to 2 cm), check out Instinct Serum instead — on nascent beards, oil can still feel heavy, and the non-greasy serum is better suited.
When the beard is wet, the oil floats on the film of water and doesn't penetrate the fiber properly. The result: uneven application, a greasy feeling, and skin that doesn't benefit. When the beard is dry or almost dry, the oil penetrates directly into the fiber and reaches the skin under the beard — that's where it does the real work.
3 to 5 drops depending on length. Medium beard (1.5 to 4 cm) → 3 drops. Full/long beard → 4 to 5 drops. It's better to start with less and add more if needed.
No – Velours Oil is a cosmetic, not a medication. It will not multiply your follicles (that's genetic). However, it nourishes the hair shaft, protects the skin from dryness, and supports the natural growth cycle.
